With a beautiful beach, prestigious properties and a famous yacht club just the beginning of its benefits, it’s little wonder that Brighton attracts people looking for the ultimate VIP lifestyle.

To embrace the best of Brighton, a new executive leasing opportunity has opened in the heart of the suburb, Fifty Two Black.

The PB&Co project is an architecturally designed landmark building, with five penthouse-scale residences.

Fifty Two Black presents a rare opportunity to experience an exclusive lifestyle of unparalleled elegance and luxury.

Alex Bragilevsky, founder and CEO of developer PB&Co, says the homes “celebrate luxury living at its finest” and present a brand-new luxury leasing and lifestyle experience.

The project embraces the finest of contemporary luxury design, with interiors from internationally renowned designer Meg Sharpe, who has been named one of the world's top 100 designers by Elle Decor A-List Awards.

“The concept for the spaces is effortless elegance," Sharpe says. "There will be a warmth represented not in colours but in textures and layers to create a sophisticated richness in the spaces. The prestigious quality of the materials and furniture will create a sumptuous backdrop for casual living."

Sharpe's interior styling at Fifty Two Black embraces a refined, classic aesthetic, yet conscious of modern lifestyles.

New York design studio Gregory Tuck Architecture collaborated with Melbourne's celebrated Nicholas Day Architects to craft the stunning luxury residences.

European marble floors, chandeliers, bespoke furniture and fine art are just some of the touches that set Fifty Two Black apart from other executive leasing options, Bragilevsky explains.

"There is everything from fine china, crystal and silver, to luxurious bed and bath linens," he adds.

The residences are fully furnished with pieces sourced from luxury global fashion and design houses.

The home have been fitted with the latest automated features, while chefs will indulge in Wolf and Sub Zero appliances in the expansive kitchens. Meanwhile, the VIP life will be made even easier with access to a concierge service and on-call chauffeured cars. Residents will also have access to an exclusive club that taps into global lifestyle experiences.

The homes suit business jetsetters looking for a short-term stay, or perhaps executives relocating to Melbourne and needing a longer-term stay before buying a property, Bragilevsky says.

Premium location

Fifty Two Black is located just off the famous Church Street shopping strip — the beating heart of Brighton, Melbourne's most exclusive bayside locale.

Tones of brass, silver and polished nickel complement the chevron light oak floors and mosaic marble tiling.

Locals regularly drop into Church Street to browse the designer fashion stores, be pampered at day spas or grab a coffee at local landmark cafes, like The Pantry. Church Street is also home to a boutique cinema, fine dining restaurants and gastro pubs.

Bragilevsky says the location is ideal for those looking for the ultimate bayside lifestyle in Melbourne.

"The residents at Fifty Two Black will be neighbouring like-minded Bayside locals, global citizens and Australia’s elite who are seeking out exceptional quality and a lifestyle experience like no other," Bragilevsky says.

"Lavish images of beautifully crafted yachts against the shore set the tone for the community, exuding an elegant beachy-vibe blended with the finesse synonymous with the neighbourhood."

Iconic lighting, chandeliers, furniture pieces and art create a sense of grandeur in each room.

Executive living

With the fabulous Brighton lifestyle comes some very exclusive real estate, with the suburb the spot for luxury manors and designer apartments, says Anne Flaherty, economist at realestate.com.au.

"If you’re thinking about high-end property opportunities to buy, or if you’re looking to lease a property fully furnished, Brighton is an attractive option," she says.

"With a median house price of $3.38 million and a median unit price of $1.09 million, Brighton is one of the most exclusive suburbs in Melbourne."

Over 10 different types of marble have been sourced from Italy, Spain and Africa for use throughout each home.

It’s not just top-end buyers looking to live the Brighton life, but renters too.

Flaherty highlights views per rental listing for units in Brighton was up 31% in the six months to February ’22, according to realestate.com.au data. Rental prices are also among the highest in Victoria.

"Supporting buyer and renter demand is Brighton’s combination of lifestyle and amenity, being home to one of Melbourne’s most popular beaches and the fact that it’s just half an hour away from the city," says Flaherty.

"Brighton ticks the box of being close to the water and close to the CBD. There’s lots of retail amenity there and it’s well serviced by good roads and public transport."

The European kitchen includes a butler’s pantry with hand-selected marble to benchtops and splashbacks.

Bragilevsky says that with interstate and international borders open, Fifty Two Black has caught the eye of those near and far.

The development has received high volumes of enquiry from interstate and international executives ahead of completion in June 2022, he says.

Fifty Two Black is now available to lease.
